Payment: Payment can be invoiced via PayPal or mail to WMA PO Box. Payment must be received no later
than January 31st to be eligible to participate. All checks are to be made payable to the WMA.
How Does a Challenge Work?
✓ Our challenges are completed at home and offer an affordable way to have fun with your horse while
earning unique ribbons and prizes!
✓ As the WMA, our goal is to have fun with our Mustang and Non-Mustang horses while connecting with
others. This challenge is open to all riders and all breeds of horses.
✓ To complete the challenge, you must finish the required number of activities (two activities per day at
most) within the given timeframe for each challenge.
✓ The challenge is based on the honor system- simply record your activities and email us back the activity
log by the due date.
Rules & Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as an “activity”?
• Riding
• Driving
• Groundwork- including but not limited to- ground driving, lunging, liberty work, showmanship/In-hand
training, desensitizing work and hand walking
• Therapeutic riding- both on horseback and as a handler or ground assistance position
What doesn’t count as an activity?
• Basic horse care- Mucking, feeding, and grooming does not count as an activity
How many activities can I do in a day?
• Log at least 15 of the above activities during the challenge period.
Who may enter?
• Any US Resident (unfortunately international shipping of ribbons is expensive so we currently cannot
support those who reside outside the US)
• Any age- if you are under 18 years old you do need the permission of a parent/guardian and we highly
recommend always partaking in your equine time with adult supervision.
What disciplines may enter?
• EVERYONE & ANY TYPE- our challenge is open to all riders/drivers/handlers of all ability levels. Our
goal is to be all inclusive and help everyone of every ability level to keep track of their progress and
reach achievements that they deem are important to them and safety attainable for their ability level.
Do I have to have my own horse?
• No- you may count time on lesson/lease horses or any horse you have permission from the owner to use.
Do I have to have a mustang?
• No- you can enter the challenge with a non-mustang just be sure to mark the correct information on the
registration form.
Can I use more than one horse for a challenge?
• YES- use as many as you like and you have two options
• Option 1- Pay for one entry and use any horse for a total of 15 activities and receive one ribbon
• Option 2- Pay for an entry per horse that you wish to use, track activities on separate forms per
horse, accumulate 15 activities per horse and receive a ribbon for each horse!

✓ Any participant under 18 years old must have permission of a parent/guardian to participate.
Please only partake in equestrian activities under the supervision of a qualified adult.
✓ Exhibitors participate at their own risk, understanding the potential risks associated with equine
activities. By entering, each participant who engages in an equine activity expressly assumes the risk
of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss and damage to person(s) or property resulting
from the risk of equine activities. By entering participants agree to release and hold harmless
Wyoming Mustang Association from any and all liability.
