
Western Clinic and Show

WHAT: Are you interested in learning how to participate in a Western Horse show, want to improve your skills, want to get ready for the county fair, or are just looking for an opportunity to show? The Wyoming Mustang Association (WMA) and The Cheyenne Saddle Tramps Riding Club (CST) can help with that. The WMA & CST are offering a Western schooling clinic followed by a small, judged show.
When: On July 12 – Western Horse Show Clinic
Clinic Registration at 8 am – Show Registration at Noon
Clinic 8:30-12:00 – Open show to begin at 1:00
The clinic will focus on Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation, and a Western Riding Pattern
The show is open to everyone! Clinic participation is not required. Long sleeve western shirts are required for both the clinic and the show. A helmet or a western hat will be required for the show.
The horse shows will offer 5 divisions:
Open, Novice (Horse or Rider), Senior Youth (11-17), Junior Youth (10 and Under) and Walk/Trot only
Champion and Reserve Champion Ribbons will be awarded with WMA ribbons provided for each show event
placing, up to sixth place.
Fees:
WMA/CST Member Clinic & Show: $50.00
Non-Member: Clinic & Show $75.00.
Horse Show classes: $10 for members, $15 for non-members with a $10 office fee*
*The office fee is waived for any entries received by July 9th.
WMA and CST Club Memberships will be available at this event
