Join us for the annual Wyoming Mustang and Burro Days Show! We are looking for volunteers and participants. Participants may enter their class choices on the form below. Volunteers- please email wyomingmustangassn@gmail.com and let us know you are interested in helping out!

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the WMA (either through monetary donations or through donations of items- products, swag, etc) please contact the WMA.

Pre-registration prior to August 9th results in discounted office fees of $10. Entries are $10/class for members, $15/class for non-members. Registration after August 9th will result in a $10 office fee per competitor. If you would like to become a member of the Wyoming Mustang Association, please complete the online application. In Open, Junior Youth, Senior Youth, Novice and Green Horse Divisions, all classes will count toward division high point. In the event of a tie in these divisions, the barrel time will be used as a tie-breaker. All classes in the In-Hand, Leadline, and Burro Divisions will count toward the respective division high point. Please note that riders in the leadline division cannot enter riding classes, horses entered in the Green Horse division cannot cross enter other divisions, and a rider who has previously won the Novice division at Wyoming Mustang and Burro Days cannot enter the Novice division again. Events with an asterisk * are not eligible towards division points. Check in at 8am. Event to begin at 9am.

Junior Youth Division

Junior Youth Division is open to riders 12 years of age and under. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Senior Youth Division

Senior Youth Division is open to riders from 13-17 years of age. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Youth Non-Mustang Division

Youth Non-Mustang Division is open to riders from 5-17 years of age that are not riding a BLM branded mustang or mulestang. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Open Division

Open Division is open to riders 18 years of age and older on a BLM branded mustang or mulestang. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Open Non-Mustang Division

Open Non-Mustang Division is open to riders 18 years of age and older on a domestic horse that is not a branded BLM horse or mule. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Novice Division

Novice Division is open to riders of all ages that do not accept payment for equine related services and have not won the Novice division at Wyoming Mustang and Burro Days in the past. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

Green Horse Division

Green Horse Division is walk/trot only. This division is open to any horse or rider not comfortable competing at a lope. Horses entered in the Green Horse Division cannot cross enter other divisions. Equitation is shown in English tack and attire.

The Freestyle class is an exhibition only. Freestyle routines are done to music and riders must provide their music choice to the office at check in. Props are allowed for freestyle.

Pay at Show

Agreement

I have read and understand the above statement regarding payment of show fees. and I understand that there is a $10 office fee per participant.

I understand that WMA does not handle stalling at the Rafter MB Event Center. In order to receive a stall for my horse during the show, I must register and provide necessary paperwork to the Rafter MB Events Complex staff. It is my responsibility to ensure that I have the correct paperwork at check in.
